Twist family

Postby delcariad » Thu Jul 29, 2010 3:27 pm

Hello all,

I'm hoping that someone out there can help me as I have hit a wall in my family tree. I'm looking for James Twist b c1846 in Golborne - 1851 census lists a james twist living Warrington, Newton in Makerfield and I know he married twice - Martha Littler/Margaret Heaton in Billinge. Research has led me to believe his family lived in and around this area but there are Twist families all over the place! Any info would be really appreciated.

regards in anticipation
